A Look at Projected EQIP Funding
Farmdoc Daily just released a report on how the House Farm Bill would tweak EQIP funding
The Inflation Reduction Act provided for increased assistance to EQIP of about $8.45 billion with most of that to be spent by 2028. However, the House Ag proposal would decrease this spending by about $3.9 billion during the period ending 2030 but then would start increasing the funding by about $600 million in 2032 and thereafter which is expected to be permanent.
