In this guidance, it outlines the various features and rules of the program, and it was primarily focused on crop insurance professionals, but there is a lot of good detail in the slide deck.
One slide shows how they calculate the “payment” amount, but remember on your application, you will only receive 35% of that number, not the total amount. That has created some confusion for many farmers since they believe that is their payment amount. It is not - It is 35% of that number.
