April 15 is ARC/PLC Final Decision Date

Less than a month before final deadline for ARC versus PLC decision

April 15 is the deadline this year for your PLC versus ARC decision. It has been several years since we had any major payments for corn, soybeans, wheat, etc. based on PLC or ARC-CO unless your county yield was much lower than your benchmark yield.

Remember that if you elected SCO for crop insurance you are automatically disqualified from electing ARC. You must elect PLC in that situation. If you elected ECO, you can elect either ARC or PLC.
