We continue to get questions regarding payment limits and how a crop-share arrangement may help increase payment limits for families. In today’s post we will provide some Q&A’s regarding payment limits and crop-share arrangements.

Q. Does a landlord get their share of FSA program payments based on the share allocated to them?

A. Yes. If it is a 50/50 share, then the landlord gets 50% of the payment and the tenant farmer gets 50%. If it is a 60/40 share, then the landlord gets 40% and so on.

Q. Is the landlord required to pay their share of the expenses?
