The 2025/26 marketing-year average price for wheat is final at $5.06, and that locks in the PLC payment rate. The shortcut worth remembering: at 85% of base acres, PLC pays right at $1.10 per PLC-yield bushel for 2025. Multiply your PLC yield by $1.10 and you have your per-acre payment.

How the rate is set. PLC pays the difference between the effective reference price and the MYA price, on your farm’s PLC yield:

$6.35 effective reference − $5.06 final MYA = $1.29 per bushel

That $1.29 is paid on 85% of base acres, so the working rate per PLC-yield bushel is:

$1.29 × 85% = $1.0965, rounded to $1.10 per bushel

(The exact figure is a hair under $1.10 — the rounding adds only a few cents an acre, so the clean dime is fine for planning.)

Your payment by PLC yield. Find your farm’s PLC yield in the left column; the right column is your 2025 payment per base acre.
