Get Ready to File Your BOI Report (Again)

The Supreme Court issue an order to override the national injunction by the Fifth Circuit. You may need to file your BOI report soon.

The Supreme Court, yesterday, issued a lifting of the national injunction on the Fifth Circuit ruling delaying the reporting of the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA).

As we have written a few times, we have had a stop sign on the BOI, then a go sign, then another stop sign and now we have another go sign.

We will continue to review FinCen.gov to determine what their new deadline will be. However, with a new administration (and President Trump originally vetoed the law), we may find that this administration will on their own stay the filing requirement until either the Fifth Circuit or Supreme Court finally rules on this Act.

As soon as any deadline comes out, we will be ready to report it. But in the meantime, get ready to file your report. You may only have a few days to get it done.
