The Continuing Resolution passed last week allocated $10 billion of economic aid to the Title I crops. We decided to calculate the amount of payments that would be paid for each crop. We took recent crop production reports from USDA and then applied the payment per acre (minimum payment for non-listed other crops). We estimated the acres for crambe and sesame seed and split chickpeas in half. However, these are very minor crops, and any differences would not materially change the bottom line.
