The photo above is my dad harvesting wheat likely in 1959 with a Massey Harris flatland combine. My mom and dad got married in 1959 and he farmed between Royal City and Othello, Washington. I think this was wheat harvest in the summer of 1959 since after my parents moved to Dixie, Washington later in 1959 we do not have any ground that flat. Also, I am not sure if I would want to combine wheat with that combine on a 50 percent slope.
My dad later purchased a Massey Harris 92H combine (for hillside) that he used to combine wheat for at least one or two years. After that, they purchased a International 151 combine which I remember. I vaguely remember the MH 92H combine.
