There are a lot of tax benefits to paying children appropriate wages for their work on your farm.
Many farm families have children that help with farm work. Many of them operate tractors or combines or other farm machinery and many times the farm couple will pay the child but may not treat the payment as a wage but rather as a gift, etc.
