Social Security and Medicare Benefits Lifetime Projections
The Urban Institute just issued their 2023 Social Security and Medicare report projecting lifetime benefits and related costs.
The Urban Institute does a projection of Social Security and Medicare benefits and costs for various retirees every year or so. The latest report was just released.
The report assumes that a person reaches age 65 in five-year increments between 1960 and 2060. It then projects in present value (today’s dollars), how much net benefit they will receive from Social Security and Medicare during their lifetime.
