In a purely political move, Senator Schumer will force a vote on this bill by week's end
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) filed cloture on the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 yesterday. That will set up a procedure to have a vote on the bill on August 1 before the Senate leaves for the August recess.
