Texas Storm Victims get November 1, 2024 Extended Deadlines

IRS announced that various taxpayers in various Texas counties will get extended tax filing and payment relief to November 1, 2024.

The IRS announced that taxpayers located in various Texas counties affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding that began on April 26, 2024, now have until November 1, 2024, to file or pay certain taxes.

We have previously posted on the extended due dates for Iowa and Nebraska for storms on the same day or within a day. Nebraska got an extension to September 2, 2024, whereas Iowa got an extension to October 15, 2024.
