Treasury Touts Clean Energy Tax Credits Signup

Over 45,500 clean energy projects have registered through the IRS Energy Credits Online (ECO) portal

The Treasury Department announced yesterday that 45,500 clean energy projects have been registered with their Energy Credits Online (ECO) portal as of March 8, 2024.

About 500 entities have registered with the portal.

Farmers who do clean energy projects such as wind turbines, solar, methane digesters, etc. have in the past been unable to take advantage of the credit due to the lack of taxes owed by the farm operation.
