USDA announced yesterday that producers of specialty crops can now apply for the Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops (MASC) through January 8, 2025. Assistance of up to $2 billion will be provided to producers.
The original announcement of the program was made last month and yesterday was the first day a producer could apply for the program.
