The Farm Bill has been extended into 2025 (fiscal year ended September 30, 2025). This means that ARC-CO is in effect for this crop year based on the previous rules.

ARC-CO will calculate benchmark revenue based on the Olympic average yields for the county and Olympic average MYA prices for each crop. This five-year database does not include the previous year. Therefore, for the 2025 crop year, we take the five-year data ending with the 2023 crop year.

Olympic average means you take the latest five data points, throw out the high and the low and take the average of the remaining three numbers. However, the MYA price cannot be lower than the effective reference price when doing that calculation.
