What Might SDRP Stage 2 Look Like

Once the shutdown is over USDA will announce the details on Stage 2 of SDRP

The Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP) has about $18 billions of funding and to date USDA has paid out about $5.7 billion.

Stage 2 was scheduled to start around the first week of October, but the government shutdown has prevented that from happening. Once the shutdown is over, we should have the details on how it will be processed, but we thought we would provide our projection.

Likely it will provide payments to farmers who did not quite have a crop insurance indemnity but with the updated SDRP %, the farmer would now get a payment.
