What Might the SDRP Top Up Look Like
We calculate an estimate of the final top up amounts
Signup for both SDRP Stage 1 and 2 can occur anytime between now and April 30, 2026. This means that any “top up” payment above and beyond the original 35% paid under Stage 1 or 2 will be delayed until after that date.
What might this top up payment look like. We have information from USDA on total payments under Stage 1 and the Final Rule shows estimated payments under Stage 2 of about $2.7 billion. Based on these numbers, we worked up an estimate as follows:
