When Will We Get Disaster and Economic Aid for Farmers
The second round of voting on the Continuing Resolution failed last night.
The House Republican leadership was unable to pass a skinny continuing resolution last night that President Trump had supported. The vote was not even close.
This skinny version had essentially included all of the farmer’s disaster and economic aid.
This means that unless something is pass by midnight tonight, the government will “shut down”. This has happened before and the effect in the long-run is very minor, but it may delay any assistance for farmers.
