Will PARP Get Paid by November 17
Jim Wiesemeyer in his newsletter indicates that USDA may be paying out PARP by November 17. However, they are still trying to find extra funds to fully fund it.
USDA announced the Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program about a year ago and closed it about four months ago and the farmers are still waiting for their funds.
In the original Federal Register report on the program, USDA estimated that about $2.5 billion of claims would be filed, but the budget for the program was capped at $250 million.
